Honoring Hecate with this copper wire wrapped Labradorite Amulet. I love how the color of the small faceted blue Kyanite and the smooth color of the orange Hessonite Garnet mirrors in the Labradorite. The pendant is 9 cm long and 4 cm wide. The antiqued copper chain is 66 cm long and is adjustable in length according to your need.

Hecate is the goddess of the crossroads, which means she is the force present during any major life changing event. Namely this means birth, death, and rebirth. Most often people see her as a dark goddess because she is a psychopomp (one that guides souls to the other side), but often we forget she is also a goddess of childbirth and maternity (which is her light aspect). She is both darkness and light—birth and death.

Hecate is also said to be the goddess of witchcraft, ruling over and aiding in the practice of witches from the past as well as the present. She is thought to be a necromancer, but also a healer.

Item care: This item has been antiqued, so DO NOT use jewelry cleaning solutions on it or you will remove the polished patina. However, it can accumulate further tarnish – so try to limit contact with lotions, soaps or anything moist. Always make sure to remove jewelry before bed and never wear in the shower, swimming or anywhere else it may come in contact with water. If it becomes overly tarnished, you can use a jewelry polishing cloth to gently buff away any excess tarnish.

Physically: The Labrardorite is used for joint and bone diseases. This stone strengthens the muscles and the spine and has a positive influence on rheumatic diseases. It strengthens the immune system and activates the body’s self-healing powers. It helps the body with deacidification and prevents gout.
Healing effects on the psyche: Labradorite has very strong calming and balancing properties on the soul and helps with a quick temper, relieves outbursts of anger.

Garnet is a powerful energizing and regenerating stone. It balances, strengthens and protects. Represents Fate, Love and Constancy.
