Offer

The presentation of the products in the Yulahu online shop is not a legally binding offer. By clicking the “Buy” button and simultaneously accepting the “General Terms and Conditions” you are submitting a legally binding offer. The order is confirmed by email immediately after receipt of the order, but does not constitute acceptance of the contract.

The general sales conditions described below define the rights and obligations of Yulahu and the customer. Yulahu reserves the right to change the content and form of these general conditions of sale at any time. However, the conditions accepted at the time of purchase still apply.

Prices

The prices of the items listed on the website are in Swiss Francs (CHF). Yulahu reserves the right to change item prices and shipping costs at any time without notice.
However, you will be billed for the products based on the prices valid at the time the order was confirmed.

Returns and exchanges

Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don’t accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can’t be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can’t accept returns for:
Custom or personalized orders
Digital downloads
Items on sale

Returns and exchange details

Loss or damage in shipping: I will replace the item or refund your money. In case of damage, please send me a photo.
Breakage: I try to use only materials and techniques that I trust to stand up to normal use, and I give as much detail as possible about the materials so the buyer can make an informed choice, but I know that sometimes there are surprises. If your piece breaks under normal stress, please contact me so we can work out a repair or replacement. I will do this within reason – if your necklace didn’t survive a Herculean tug by your toddler, then I probably would agree to repair rather than replace. In some cases, I might ask for a description of what happened.

Exactly what you ordered and it arrived in good condition, but not what you were expecting: Shopping online for non-fungible items still requires a leap of faith no matter how good the digital images and detailed the descriptions are. If an item arrives and you just plain don’t like it or it doesn’t fit, please contact me on e-mail (shopadmin(at)yulahu.com) within 14 calendar days after you received it so we can work out an adjustment, replacement or refund. The item must arrive back to me in the same condition in which I sent.

Replacement pieces will be slightly different to what you ordered originally because each item is handmade.
Return shipping costs and replacement shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

Twint in Switzerland

I will ship your purchase within 1-3 business days after receiving your payment. 

Shipping

Products when on Stock, are ready to ship in 1-3 days
If they are made to order it takes 1-7 days to prepare them.

The shipping times from Switzerland are:
Domestic (within Switzerland): 1-3 business days
Europe: 2-4 business days
Rest of the world: 3 – 17 business days

Please check by each product the shipping costs.

 

Please note that the buyer is responsible for customs duties and any additional fees that are levied by the destination country.

I will notify you by e-mail once I have shipped your item and also if the delivery is delayed. In the event of unavailability, the payments made will be refunded immediately.
After the payment is verified, the order will be processed as soon as possible. This does not apply to weekends or public holidays.
I pack the items to minimize the risk of damage and I use recycled materials whenever possible. Please let me know if you would like the item to be gift-wrapped and if you would like to include a message and I will do this at no extra charge.

Warranty

I do the warranty work free of charge up to 12 months from the date of purchase, unless the item was maliciously damaged or treated with gross negligence. Obvious damage or defects in the delivered products must be reported within 3 working days.

Tariffs for services & changes

Yulahu creations within warranty (1 year):
Re-assembling / cleaning: Free of charge (unless damaged intentionally or treated with gross negligence)
Changes: price according to effort
Yulahu creations after expiration guarantee:
New winding / cleaning CHF 25.00 per piece of jewelry
Changes: price according to effort
Changes to third-party labels: price according to effort

Your data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties. Further information on the collection and handling of personal data and your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection can be found in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these general terms and conditions.
